Paralegal Dudu Basi gives a workshop to farm workers in 2015 as part of a project with The Department of Labour
In 2021 the office gave fifteen presentations to 332 adults and six presentations to 343 school learners.
The advice office gives workshops to raise awareness and enable people to identify abuse, and to encourage them to do so. Workshops are mostly on domestic violence, labour rights, rape, child abuse and maintenance laws, while school presentations focus on sexual abuse, motivation and self-discipline, peer pressure and bullying, drug abuse and teenage pregnancy.
Many clients haven´t eaten in days, and advice office staff provide them with food, clothes and toys when they can.
